QUOTA SWIM Support

QUOTA SWIM is the next version of Swimward, currently in testing. The App Store still offers Swimward 1.0.1. The app keeps preferences on your device and does not require an account.

Quick start

Record on Watch. Review in QUOTA SWIM.

Record a pool or open-water workout with Apple Watch or another source that saves swimming workouts to Apple Health. QUOTA SWIM imports the completed workout, shows the distance and timing, and can suggest a next session for the same pool length.

Quick help

Is Swimward available to download?

The current App Store release is Swimward 1.0.1. QUOTA SWIM 1.1 is an update to the same app and is in testing. New 1.1 features described here are not yet publicly released.

How do I take a plan to the pool in 1.1?

Plan before leaving. Schedule the set to the Watch Workout app or print a swim card; your phone can stay in your locker. Check lane rules, adapt rests to other swimmers, and start and finish the recording on your Watch. Review the receipt after it syncs to Health.

What is free in the 1.1 update?

Health import, all swim history, your weekly goal, steady and easy plans, any pool length, saved swim plans, printable cards, this week’s recap and two saved pools. Your first Watch interval plan is free. Only a confirmed schedule uses it. Retry or reschedule that same plan free. New plans require Lifetime. Lifetime also adds build and variety plans, recap history, four-week progress and unlimited saved pools. Existing saved pools remain accessible.

Why does Build distance need more swims?

Automatic increases need three valid recent swims in pools of the same length within 60 days. Build distance is a Lifetime plan style; the swim history sets a starting distance, but does not unlock the paid feature. Tired days and a break of ten days or more keep the plan easier. Rounding and time limits can also keep a suggested distance steady.

Does the app send usage analytics?

No. In 1.1, Settings shows three aggregate counters held only on your iPhone: paywall views, locked-feature taps and scheduling attempts. No timestamps, Health details, analytics SDK or network reporting. Resetting them does not reset the free Watch plan. Printed-card QR codes link only to this product page.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

You need Apple Watch to receive a scheduled workout. To review a swim, QUOTA SWIM can read swimming workouts saved to Apple Health by any compatible source.

Why is a swim missing?

QUOTA SWIM imports completed swimming workouts from Apple Health with read-only access. Make sure the workout was saved as a swimming workout in Health and that QUOTA SWIM has permission to read workout data in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health.

Does it support my pool?

QUOTA SWIM supports 25-yard, 25-meter, and 50-meter pools, plus backyard and custom pool lengths. Saved pools keep home, gym, seasonal, short, and custom pools organized.

Will a missed week hurt my progress?

No. Missing a week does not remove your cove progress or discoveries. There is no streak to lose.

Is there a subscription?

No. Swimward is free to download with useful included features and an optional one-time Lifetime unlock.

How do I restore QUOTA SWIM Lifetime?

Open Settings, find QUOTA SWIM Lifetime, and choose Restore Purchase while signed in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Does Swimward write to Apple Health?

No. Swimward and the upcoming QUOTA SWIM update use read-only Health access. Sending a planned set to the Apple Watch Workout app is separate from writing completed workouts to Health.

Where is my data stored?

Plans, pools, companion preferences, and reminder choices are kept on your device. There is no account or cloud sync. Deleting the app can remove these local records. Your original workouts remain in Apple Health.

Troubleshooting

  • Fully close and reopen the app.
  • Check Apple Health permissions: Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Swimward should allow reading workout data.
  • Before leaving, check the plan and pool length in the Apple Watch Workout app. In 1.1: Your first Watch interval plan is free. Only a confirmed schedule uses it. Retry or reschedule that same plan free. New plans require Lifetime. Failed or denied attempts do not use your free plan. If intervals aren’t supported, a distance-only goal is free and does not use your free interval plan.
  • Same-pool comparisons need swims recorded in the same pool length — check that the workout used the pool length you expect.
  • When reporting a problem, note your device model, iOS version, Swimward build, and what happened just before the issue.
